Furnace Limit Switch

When you turn your furnace on, it takes time for the burners to heat up and the air handler to deliver warm air to your home. It is the limit switch’s responsibility to read the temperature of the plenum until it gets warm then sends a signal to the air handler to blow the warm (not cool or lukewarm) air out from the furnace to your home.

The limit switch also serves as a safety mechanism for your furnace. It checks the plenum’s temperature and automatically shuts off the gas supply to prevent your furnace and heat exchanger from overheating.

Finding yourself in a limit switch problem? Don’t worry. This part is so easy to change, there is no reason for you to pay someone hundreds of dollars to remove just a few screws.

Contact us today so we can assist you in providing the perfect limit switch for your unit so you can have that furnace up and running in no time!
